Kathleen Giese's lifelong interest in nature and photography evolved into unbridled passion for oil painting.

Ms. Giese traveled extensively throughout the United States actively pursuing the study of Traditional, Old Masters', Wet-on-Wet and plein aire type oil painting techniques.  Her instructors include nationally and internationally recognized artists.  Recently, she studied with German-born artist, Heiner Hertling, creator and instructor of "Your Brush With Nature".  She previously studied with Master Artist Bill "Ridley" Bayer, Buck Paulson, John Thamm, Bernie Oropallo, Ellen Tye, and Mary Mc Clead.

She focuses on a positive and encouraging painting environment.  Kathleen says:  "Adventure awaits each time I teach a painting class!  It's like being an expedition guide, helping my students discover their inner da Vinci.  Seeing the expressions of triumph and joy in their faces as they ascend their painting adventure is truly inspirational." 

Students from Florida, Michigan, Illinois, and Iowa have studied with Kathleen to experience her unique classes.
